The beauty products i am bringing camping

Hey readers,

Today I decided to do a post on the beauty products that I bring camping, as I am going camping in a few days time and I thought I would give anyone one else who is interested some ideas of what to bring. So lets get started...

The first and what I think is the most important product to bring is of course deodorant, personally I only use dove deodorant because other brands tend to irritate my skin, but I would just recommend bringing anyone you feel comfortable using, because camping is not a great time to be trying out new products which could potentially irritate you or not work as good as other products you have tried before (as you will most probably need a stronger deodorant as you will be outside and potentially sweating a lot). Here's a picture of the one I will be bringing:
If you were wondering it is Dove go fresh in grapefruit and lemongrass.

The second product I will be bringing is a frizz taming cream for my hair because I will not be able to heat style my hair for a few days and I will most definitely be getting frizzy hair at some point, so I think that for me this is a vital product to bring camping, although if your hair is straight or just does not get frizzy then you can just skip this one.
Here's the one I will be bringing:

It is Clynol tame smoothing lotion.

The next products I will be bringing are hair bands and bobby pins which are an obvious necessity for someone with very curly and frizzy hair as I will definitely be wearing it up for the whole weekend.
You can get hair bands and bobby pins almost anywhere but I tend to get mine in Primark as they are very cheap and work well for me.

The next products I am bringing I am going to group together because they are all to do with the same thing, showering. They are shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower pouf or flannel, razor and shaving cream. Obviously everyone will have their own personal preference for each of these products so I wont be including a photo for any of these.

Next are two products which I am also grouping together as they are both used for similar reasons. They are sun cream and a lip balm which has SPF in it. These are also personal preference products so I will also not be including a photo here.

A body spray is the next thing because it is still important to smell nice even when camping. The one I will be bringing is from boots and is a mango and papaya scented body spray.

The next product I will be bringing I think is also a necessity, it is dry shampoo, which I think is important because when camping you don't tend to wash your hair as much as you would at home either because you are at a place where there isn't a place for you to wash your hair or because you just can't be bothered. The one I am bringing is batiste floral and flirty blush.

Lastly the product I am bringing is a moisturiser, because my skin does tend to get very dry when camping because you are outside a lot. The one I will be bringing is from the body shop and is the strawberry puree body lotion.

Although the one I will be bringing is the mini version of this.

Thanks for reading and I hope that if you are going camping you have a great time and if not I hope you got a few tips from this which could help when going on a future camping trip.

Pretty Little Liars Fashion : Aria Montgomery

Hey readers,

As someone who loves PLL, I will definitely admit that the great storylines aren't the only thing which get me excited to watch this program each week, it is also the A-mazing outfits that the main characters wear. I absolutely LOVE everyone of the outfits I see the girls wearing each week and so I thought I would start a new series where I re-create (as best as I can) three outfits inspired by each of the four main characters: Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields and Spencer Hastings. And for the first PLL inspired outfit I will be re-creating three of Aria Montgomery's outfits.
And so here's the first outfit I will be re-creating:

2. Tights

3. Tank top
4. Boots
5. Shorts

Now for the second outfit:

And last the third outfit:

Thanks for reading! Look out for the second part of my Pretty Little Liars style series and please leave comments telling me your favourite outfit out of the three or any other celebrity inspired fashion you would like to see.

My Top 5 Nail Polishes For Summer 2013

Hi readers,
So today I thought I would tell you guys what my top 5 favourite summer nail polishes are for 2013. Personally I think that summer is a great time to try out some new nail trends, whether it is tribal, animal print or glitter, having time off of school gives you more opportunity to try out new nail designs, (which I might be doing a post on soon).

So to kick off my top 5, my fifth favourite summer nail polish is Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine in 'vibrant'.

I think that this nail polish is bright and eye catching which makes it perfect for summer, although it is still my fifth favourite as it took me about 3 or 4 coats to get it to look like the colour in the bottle. So I give this nail polish 3/5.

My fourth favourite summer nail polish is Rimmel London I love lasting finish in 'azure'.

I think that this nail polish is also just as bright and eye catching as the previous one, but is slightly better as it needs less coats to get it looking like the one in the bottle, although for me Rimmel nail polishes have a tendency to peel off after just a few days of wearing it. So I rate this polish 3/5.

My third favourite summer nail polish is another by Rimmel its Rimmel London I love lasting finish in 'misty jade'.

I don't really have anything different to say about this nail polish than I did about the first, as they are both by the same brand, but what I will say is I absolutely LOVE the colour of this. Although most people would associate mint green with spring, I think that it also transitions well into the summer months because it is bright and colourful enough to look good in summer, but also as it is a pastel colour it goes great with almost any outfit. I give this one 4/5.

Just missing out on first place is Nails inc. London in 'atomic' by fabulous.

Even though this nail polish came free in a magazine, it is still in second place because it is by one of my favourite nail polish brands of all time and I have not had any faults with it yet. The colour is bright and vibrant and perfect for summer and best of all it only took me 1 or 2 coats to get it looking like the colour in the bottle. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a bright summer polish and I give this a well deserved 5/5.

And now for my number 1 best summer nail polish for 2013, it is 'Lexington yellow' by New York Color.

Now, although the picture may suggest otherwise this nail polish is actually a lighter colour than you would expect, and that's why I have chosen it as my top favourite polish. It makes your nails look fresh and clean while at the same time still looking suitable for the summer time and as it is a lighter yellow it can easily be used for both spring and summer.

Thanks for reading and please visit back again as I should have more posts up soon.

New Blog

Hi readers,
So this is my new blog, which will be home to outfit ideas, inspiration, celebrity style, reviews and anything else fashion and beauty related! After attempting to blog many times before, but not really having the time to do it properly, I decided to start now, at the beginning of my summer holiday, so I could hopefully do better than before.
So please come back soon, as a new post should be up every other day.
Thanks,
Fashion Gold.
